The Salzburger Saalachtal is comprised of two popular and family friendly ski resorts: Almenwelt Lofer and Heutal in Unken. Both represent the best of the Pinzgau hospitality and idyllic landscapes. Offering mostly flat and broad pistes, the two areas are ideal for beginners and families with small children. In close vicinity you will find the ski resort of Steinplatte-Waidring. Located in the “Drei-Länder” region between Tyrol, Salzburg, and Bavaria, you can access slopes both from German and Austrian side. This attractive resort offers some excellent and varied ski terrain and modern facilities. All resorts are extremely well accessible and perfect for short weekend trips - you will reach Salzburg in 45min drive and other popular towns such as Zell am See or Saalfelden are also within short drive.

Our curiosity about investment in Austria turned into a real business plan successfully completed thanks to Petra Řeháková of Domus Global. The help with buying an apartment in Schladming was priceless, the company provided us a comprehensive care including assistance with tax issues. Thanks a lot!
